First off, we tell ALL stories. We believe love is love.

Sophie and I love telling stories. Real ones. Stories that inspire and stories that mean something. Stories that allow you to experience something bigger than yourself. These stories don't have a formula or rules. They can't be forced or posed. They often tell themselves if we allow them to. We believe our role as your photographer is to enter your story and to tell it in an honest way. And in a way that allows you to relive your day over and over again. We have over ten years experience telling incredible stories. We have learned so much in that time that allows us the freedom to be ourselves and not miss a moment of your amazing day!

What this looks like:

On your day, Sophie and I are basically photojournalists. We shoot candid photos. We throw ourselves into your story without getting in the way or being a distraction. We look for all of the little details that make your day unique and we try to capture the moments that matter to you. We believe the most honest photos we can get are the ones that you are unaware of. We are with you all day. From getting ready to your getaway that night. We have no time limits or restrictions. We have no set number of photos we take. At some point in the day, we love having time with just the two of you. Either during your first look (which we are big fans of) or after the ceremony to capture a few moments with no distractions or anyone else around. These photos often create themselves as we give you space to just be together, usually for the first time all day!

Sophie and I are the most creative and full versions of ourselves when we:

- work with natural light.We love natural light and everything that comes with it. Shadows, light leaks, and even the frustrations that come with the inconsistencies of natural light. We love outdoor weddings or weddings in doors with lots of natural light. We ask that you work with us on this because lighting is the most important thing to us when it comes to photography.

- have the freedom to do limited posed photographs.

- are trusted to tell your story in a way that is uniquely "you". We are not inspired by seeing others photos on Pinterest. Your photos can only be created with a blank slate. We encourage our couples not to settle for photos that someone else has done. We ask that you be patient and work with us in order for us create photos that tell a story only you can tell. 

- get to know you! We often become friends with the couples we work with. Our engagement shoots are included in our package and they are essential. We love spending hours listening to your stories and telling ours. There is something amazing that happens when we connect with our couples. This dramatically decreases the awkwardness level of having a camera in your face and allows us to capture the honest vulnerable moments. The moments that matter.

Wedding investment- 

One Photographer- $3,600 (3,000 for 2023 weddings)   Two Photographers- $4,400 (3,800 for 2023 weddings)  Elopements- start at $2,500

Our pricing is very simple. There are no hidden or extra fees. This cost covers...

-No time restrictions from 9am until 12am the day of the wedding. (Times are up to you but point is, we are there all day!)

-a disk with your final edited story. All couples will receive between 400 and 600 fully edited images within 7 weeks of the wedding.The actual amount depends on many factors including weather, amount of available light, and schedule of the day.

-No travel fees up to 200 miles.

-up to a 3 hour engagement photo/ get to know you session. It doesn't always take that long but we like to allow plenty of time for getting to know each other and taking a few great photos.(This includes a minimum of 30 fully edited images)

portrait stories- $600

All of our portrait sessions are done in the same documentary style as our weddings. What makes you, you? Our goal is to create an experience where you are free to be yourself. And then we takes some photos to capture the moment! This includes family photos, senior pictures, and any other story you want to tell!
