Sometimes you have photo shoots that go exactly as planned. It's rare but they do happen. This was not one of them. But, I think that is what I love so much about Melanie and Brandon's story. We had rough lighting all day and the setting was a little less than ideal but this made the adventure that much more fun and worth it in the end. We really had to search and be patient. All the while getting to know this amazing couple. It turns out that their bright personalities and love for each other doesnt need much to let it shine. I know that may sound a little cheesy but it's true! Sometimes you don't need props or a theme to tell a story. Sometimes the story just sort of tells itself. And I think that's what happened here. Melanie and Brandon love being with each other. No matter where they are at or what they are doing and I love that about them! I was so excited when Melanie asked Sophie and I to tell their story and I can't wait for their wedding day!
